PropPulse Officially Launches Uganda’s First Trusted Digital Real Estate Marketplace at AREA-U Conference
Uganda’s real estate sector celebrated a landmark moment today as PropPulse, a verified digital property marketplace developed by Data Pulse Ltd Uganda, officially launched during the AREA-U International Real Estate & Investment Conference.
PropPulse introduces a new standard of transparency and trust by ensuring that every property listing is linked to a verified title number. This innovation aims to empower consumers, elevate the work of real estate professionals, and support the country’s vision for a modern, organized, and data-informed property market.
The PropPulse and Data Pulse team hosted a dedicated presentation booth, which was honored by a visit from Hon. Judith Nabakooba Nalule, Minister of Lands, Housing & Urban Development, accompanied by senior officials. Their engagement reflected strong institutional interest in solutions that strengthen land governance and enhance professionalism within the sector.
Data as a Driver for Planning and Market Confidence
Speaking during the launch activities, Alina Aeby, CEO & Co-Founder of PropPulse, emphasized the positive impact of data on Uganda’s growth story.
“Reliable real estate data is essential for thoughtful planning, informed investment, and sustainable urban development,” she said. “PropPulse provides a trusted foundation by connecting property listings with verified title information. This helps consumers make confident decisions, supports professionals in delivering higher-quality service, and contributes to a more transparent and future-ready real estate market.”
Aeby noted that PropPulse is not only a marketplace, but part of a broader vision to help Uganda build strong digital infrastructure that supports planning, development, and efficient service delivery across the sector.
A Collaborative Ecosystem Built for Progress
As PropPulse enters the market, its next steps include building positive and responsible collaborations with banks, credit providers, government bodies, and professional institutions. The goal is to create a unified ecosystem where verified property data supports better decision-making, increased financial access, and stronger consumer protection.
Lillian Nanyunja, Co-Founder & COO, highlighted the platform’s role in boosting confidence across the market.
“Everyone—from agents and developers to valuers and homebuyers—needs accurate, dependable information. PropPulse was designed to meet those needs. By bringing verification and professionalism into one digital environment, we’re helping the industry operate more efficiently and transparently.”
Nicholas Arinaitwe, Chairman & Co-Founder, emphasized alignment with national objectives.
“Transparency and data integrity strengthen investment confidence and support long-term growth. PropPulse is contributing to a modernized real estate ecosystem by fostering collaboration, improving access to trusted information, and supporting Uganda’s broader digital transformation goals.”
